Event Info: Endicott College announces the revival
of a North Shore tradition – the North Shore Concours d’Elegance, scheduled for Sunday, August 1, on the oceanfront
grounds of the Misselwood estate on the College’s campus, 376 Hale Street, Beverly. The event will feature a display
of classic and unique cars, a series of fashion shows, musical entertainment, and a classic car art collection. Cars will
be judged on a number of criteria.Concours d’Elegance are held annually throughout the country at a number of prestigious
locations, including Pebble Beach, California; Hilton Head, South Carolina; and Newport, Rhode Island. Until 2001, Castle
Hill in Ipswich hosted the event on the North Shore.
Cornelissen has been working in collaboration with the North Shore
Old Car Club to bring unique cars to the event. The show has already gained the support of other car clubs and organizations.Car
enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of classic cars, as well as the distinctiveness of some of the entries. Tickets for
the day-long event (11 am – 4 pm) are $8 ($5 for Beverly residents), and children under 12 enter free if accompanied

Police Department and Public Library will be hosting the 27th annual National Night Out on Tuesday August 3, 2010! This will
be the 14th time Amesbury has participated in the effort to promote and celebrate community-police partnerships. The National
Night Out will be held at the Amesbury High School, 5 Highland Street from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, rain or shine. All activities
are free and there will be something for kids of every age. Cities and Towns across the Country will be taking part in this
year’s event. The National Night Out will also feature free refreshments, games, demonstrations, displays and much more.
Vehicles of all shapes and sizes will also be on display. Kids of all ages will be able to get up close to construction vehicles,
military vehicles, limousines, service vehicles, racing cars and of course, lots of emergency vehicles. There will also be
an assortment of antique cars, trucks and hot rods.
