Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Features Talented Violin Soloist, Joshua Peckins
Date: March 16th, 2:30 p.m.
Location: Rogers Center for the Arts, Merrimack College, North Andover

The Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to feature native artist, Joshua Peckins, who has returned after living several years in Vienna.  Joshua will be performing the Brahms Violin Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Major, Op. 77.  This season, Mr. Peckins will also be performing solo recitals in Boston and on the North Shore, as well as in ensemble performances with the Boston Philharmonic, Discovery Ensemble, Camerata New England, and Music at Eden’s Edge, as well as concerts at Marlboro, Brandeis University, and Gordon College.  He was selected as the inaugural “Emerging Artist” for the professional mentorship program at Music at Eden’s Edge.  

The well-known Dvorak Symphony 9 in E Minor, Op.95 (From the New World) will also be included in this orchestral performance, under the direction of George Monseur. Tickets are available at the door or online at  http://www.MKtix.com/mvpo or www.mvpomusic.org.

Marblehead Little Theatre Presents Sondheim's "Company"
Date: March 14th - March 23rd
Location: Marblehead Little Theatre, 12 School St, Marblehead

Tickets are now on sale for Marblehead Little Theatre’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award Winning musical Company. Company is being produced by Bobby Kerrigan and Susan Parker and is being directed by Lance Arnold. Music direction by Amanda Roeder. Choreography by Lara Finn. The show is being sponsored by Green’s Ace Hardware Store on Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead. Tickets are available online at www.mltlive.com or at the Spirit of 76 Bookstore. The production opens March 14th and will run through March 23rd. Opening night will feature a meet the cast reception immediately following the show.
