Eric Burgos of Danvers High School

Week 1:

Eric Burgos - Danvers High School -Rushed for 190 yards on 17 carries and led the Falcons to a 20-0 Non-League win over Manchester/Essex. Burgos scored all three Falcon Touchdowns on runs of 24, 4, and 56 yards.

Mark Daddario of Peabody High School

Week 2:

Mark D'Addario-Peabody High School rushed for 251 yards on 34 carries and scored 2 touchdowns on runs of 1 yard and 68 yards as Peabody defeated Cambridge 21-12 to even their record at 1-1

Week 3:

Steve DuBois-Beverly High School made 6 solo tackles and assisted on numerous others. On offense he caught 6 passes for 107 yards with two for touchdowns 69 yards and 19 yards.

Week 4:

Dave St. Pierre-North Shore Tech-The senior Quarterback threw for 5 touchdowns-29,42,22,38 and 60 yards, rushed for a point after and threw for a point after and totaled 318 yards passing on 20 completions in 39 attempts.

Week 5:

Alex Carr - QB Manchester-Essex-The Junior signal caller went 15-29-226 yards in air and two touchdowns (18,25) rushed 14 times for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns of 5 yards and 41 yards to lead the Hornets to a 48-26 win over Lynn Tech.


Swampscott QB Matt Barbuzzi

Week 6:

Matt Barbuzzi Sr. QB from Swampscott went 16-28 in the air for 168 yards threw for two TD passes of 26 yards and 15 yards and also rushed 12 times for 63 yards and two TD's of 11 yards and 1 yard in a 37-35 loss to Lynn English.

Hamilton Wenham D-End Paul Littlefield

Week 7:

Paul Littlefield Sr. Defensive End from Hamilton-Wenham- recently off the injured list for the Generals and at Defensive End for the first time, made 16 tackles in the Generals come from behind win against the North Reading Hornets. The Generals, down 16-0 in the 3rd quarter, rallied for a 24 -16 victory their first of the season.

Week 8:Co-Players of the Week

Conor Ressel-Gloucester-Rushed for a single game record 257 yards on 6 carries and three touchdowns on runs of 26,16 and 2 yards in the Fisherman's 48-7 victory over the Lynn English Bulldogs. The undefeated Fisherman are now 8-0 and ranked #6 overall in Emass poll and #1 in Division 1A.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Splinter-Masconomet-The Senior QB returned a punt 89 yards for a TD and also ran for two other TD's of 68 and 9 yards. He then threw a TD pass for 9 yards on top of this. Splinter had 219 yards rushing and 140 yards passing in the Chieftains 35-20 win over Wilmington.

St. John's Prep RB George Sessoms

Week 9: Player of the Week

George Sessoms- St. John's Prep Running Back-Scored 5 touchdowns in the Prep's 42-12 win over Malden Catholic on Saturday. Sessoms opened the game with a 33 yard TD pass catch from Chris Cody then scored on runs of 14, 35, 4 and 6 yards. Sessoms finished with 141 yards on 19 carries.

Bishop Fenwick RB - Nick Corbett


Week 10:

Nick Corbett-Bishop Fenwick-Scored 3 touchdowns on runs of 44, 5 and 1 yard as the Crusaders defeated Archbishop Williams 32-28. Corbett rushed for 124 yards on 27 carries.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Marblehead QB - Hayes Richardson



Week 11:

Hayes Richardson-Marblehead-The Senior QB led the charge on Thanksgiving, throwing for 3 touchdowns(13,20 and 27 yards) and running for another(55 yards) as he led the Magicians to their first Title since 1973 and a birth in the Division 3 playoffs. Richardson threw for 262 total yards and ran for 80 yards in the 32-27 win over Swampscott.

Gus Margiotta-Gloucester High- two way lineman C/T and winner of the North Shore 104.9 “In the Trenches Award” for the 2009  annual Thanksgiving Game vs Danvers. Gus is the second winner-last year it was Robbie Lowe
