After Joe Parady of Gloucester gave up the Longest HR in Haverhill's Holman Stadium history to a young Carlos Pena, now of the Tampa Rays, he abruptly retired.

When asked why?? Joe answered, "I could not have grooved a better pitch!!!" That was that!!!!!
