Join Neer North for their Spring Festival Celebration of the grand opening of their new outdoor arena on June 11th. I’m excited for all the family-friendly fun with barn tours, games, music, hayrides, kid’s crafts, food trucks, and craft beer. NEER North is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving horses, donkeys, and ponies whose lives are at risk in our local area. They also work with horse owners to help them avoid crisis situations, network with other rescues, and educate the public about equine abuse and rescue. Visit neernorth.org for more on the event.
The Salem Sounds Coastwatch Race for Salem Sound 5k is happening on June 12th at9 am. Community members will gather at Dane St. Beach in Beverly for a family-friendly a race that also features free kayak and stand-up paddleboard demos, photo booths and beach seining, and terrific food from the Butter “Ur” Biscuit food truck. Cheer on the runners or compete in the race either way you’ll be doing so while having a blast with the whole family.
The 19th Beverly Arts Fest will be held on June 18th from 10 am to 4 pm in downtown Beverly The free outdoor festival will take place in downtown Beverly and will feature over 125 fine artists and crafters, kid’s activities, and food trucks. Artists will be selling pottery and sculptures, children’s items, clothing and fiber arts, furniture, home decor, cards and prints, jewelry, paintings, and more. You do not want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind art. Artists come from all over Massachusetts and right here in Beverly, including some of your favorite artists from past events, and new emerging artists for you to discover.
Need to get your fresh fruits and veggies? The Amesbury Farmers Market is now open Wednesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm at BareWolf Brewing on 12 Oakland St in Amesbury, MA. Some of the amazing items they feature are locally grown fruits and vegetables, local eggs, baked goods, locally roasted coffee, artisan’s goods, BareWolf Brewing craft beer, herbs + microgreens, and prepared foods.
