The Importance of being Earnest

The North Shore Players of Danvers will hold a virtual presentation of Oscar Wilde’s hilarious spoof of Victorian manners and morals, “The Importance of Being Earnest.” The virtual curtain is at 7 p.m., November 7. First performed in 1895, the play’s sharp wit still resonates, as two proper English ladies get engaged to the same man, “Earnest.”
