Hank Morse joined North Shore 104.9 in August of 2020 and began doing the morning show that November. Hank is married with two children, a grandson and has another on the way!

Hank began his radio career as in intern for legendary disc jockey Dale Dorman at Kiss 108 in 1985 and rose through the ranks, doing traffic and news on Kiss, working on the Matty in the Morning Show and with Dale Dorman in the afternoons. After more than 13 years, Hank moved on to the “Loren and Wally Show” for 21 years, mainly as their traffic anchor and morning show personality and did sports when Wally retired. He also did news on 96.9 FM Talk during the “Imus in the Morning Show” and then did news and worked as a sidekick/co-host along with Dan Shaughnessy, Bob Lobel and Will McDonough on the “Mike Barnicle Show”. Additionally, Hank did was the traffic anchor on Country 102.5 during the “JW and Lori Show”.

Among the many people Hank considers himself fortunate to have interviewed over the years are Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, Ray Bourque, Larry Bird, Mike Eruzione, David Silk, Keifer Sutherland, President Joe Biden, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator John McCain, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright, Tony Orlando, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Maria Menounous. Hank is HUGE hockey fan, rooting for his beloved Boston Bruins, as well as the Boston University Terriers, staying loyal to the school he attended. Hank played baseball at BU, but admittedly, wasn’t very good.

Hank has always been very active in charitable endeavors and has lent his supports to many causes, including Autism Speaks, The Teamsters Local 25 Autism Gala, the Jimmy Fund, Pan Mass Challenge, the Jett Foundation and Cure NF with Jack. Hank is a well known disc jockey and does weddings, parties and events, and has extensive experience as a LIVE auctioneer. Hank loves to camp at his favorite spot on earth, Hermit Island Campground, in Small Point, Maine. The mosquitoes don’t bother him and neither does sleeping on an air mattress!

Among some other things you may not know about Hank, he is an “L Street Brownie”, having done the annual January 1st polar plunge 10 times and may be making a comeback with his grandson! Some of Hank’s hobbies include collecting art from Goodwill, doing wood projects with his limited skills and growing his snow globe collection.

One of Hank’s favorite mottos is “Birthdays, collect as many as you can!!!”
